Review: Captain Marvel #6 is Complete Trash!

Marvel Comics frequently creates events that span across many titles. In fact, it was becoming so prevalent, that VP of Sales David Gabriel promised just over a year and half ago that we would see no new events for 18 months. That was obviously bunk. Marvel has never stopped doing events, and when they launch a new one, they hope that they can persuade readers pick up as many of the pointless tie in books with and generate enough interest that they will enjoy the books and continue to pick up the main title every issue.

Well, after reading issue #6 of Captain Marvel, I have to wonder how reading this issue would ever make you want to pick up another issue of Captain Marvel ever again! Written by Kelly Thompson, with art by Annapaola Martello, this comic is yet another WAR OF THE REALMS TIE-IN! It tells the story where Dark Elf King Malekith and his allies have conquered Earth (or so they THINK they have), and now the Enchantress is raising an army of the dead and staking a claim on South America, but Earth isn’t going down without a fight. And as Captain Marvel leads Doctor Strange and Black Widow into the land of the dead, nothing about this mission made sense.

In my video below, I will explain why I hated this comic so much.
