Movie Reviews from the Multiverse: Frozen II (Spoiler Review)

WOW! Just WOW! Ingrid and I just saw Frozen II and it was better than either of us expected! Just to get this out of the way it’s a 10 out of 10! One of the best movies this year and better than the first movie by a mile! The film reportedly opened to $127 million opening this weekend and it should be another big hit for Disney.

This movie takes a lot of what was set up from the first one and expands on it, answering questions like the source of Elsa’s powers, and gives us more backstory on their parents too. The characterizations are spot-on (Olaf especially still straddles that line between annoying and legitimately endearing) and, as expected, the animation is still as wonderful as ever, even better, as you can tell technology has advanced since the original film.

From the Academy Award®-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and producer Peter Del Vecho—and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, and the music of Oscar®-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen 2” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2019. ©2019 Disney. If there is one downside it’s that, while the music is amazing…there are no stand outs that I remember. They’re more “in the moment” good but not “I will always associate this movie with that song” like ‘Let it Go’ was for the first movie (Although given how much that song overshadowed the movie itself, this may have been for the best).

In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen 2, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven journey far beyond the gates of Arendelle in search of answers. I won’t give anymore spoilers here, as my video below video does enough of that already! So be warned, if you don’t want to know what happens, yet then don’t watch my video review! Although I certainly DO recommend that go out and see it!
