Fighting American Loves America, Free Speech & American Values

‘Fighting American’ is a patriotically themed comic book character created in 1954 by the writer-artist team of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Titan Comics acquired the license to create new Fighting American comics and published Fighting America #1 on October 11th, creator Joe Simon’s birthday. The twist with this story is that the Fighting American was, like Captain America, frozen since the fifties and wakes up in modern day. It took long enough to get around to reviewing this comic, but it was worth the wait.

We cover geek news in regards to movies, television, gaming, politics, and comic books via commentary, news, videos, and ranting. While poking a bit of fun at some of the more highly revered comic book websites, we’ve decided it’s time to respond to either their boring ‘unbiased’ reporting with something a bit more nuanced and interesting, or respond to their decidedly progressive liberal politics with opinions from the libertarian and closer to the right side of the aisle.
