Tom Cruise Releases New “Top Gun: Maverick” Trailer at Comic-Con

Near the end of the “Terminator: Dark Fate” panel, Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance at San Diego Comic-Con on to hype his forthcoming sequel film Top Gun: Maverick to roaring applause in Hall H.

Ed Harris plays a high-ranking officer opposed to Cruise’s character who is now a flight instructor in the Navy.

Lots of thrilling flight sequences, new hardware, along with brief glimpses of the bomber jacket, the crotch rocket, and of course Cruise’s signature Ray-Ban sunglasses. We even got a shot of some sweaty, shirtless volleyball action.
