Ray Fisher Shouts at Warner Bros. on Twitter After Chauvin Trial Statement

Ray Fisher posted an angry response to WarnerMedia’s statement about advancing ‘racial equity and social justice’ in the wake of yesterday’s Derek Chauvin guilty verdict. The Justice League actor’s angry reaction to WarnerMedia’s released statement about the company’s supportive position on “racial equity and social justice” in the wake of the Derek Chauvin verdict, was posted on Twitter a little after 7PM eastern

In Minnesota yesterday, a jury convicted former police officer Derek Chuavin of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the May 2020 death of George Floyd. WarnerMedia released the following statement, “While this verdict doesn’t bring back those we’ve so wrongly lost, we know that it brings us closer to significant change. We reaffirm our commitment to be part of the solution by using our platforms, content, and resources to advance racial equity and social justice.”

Too soon? One Twitter follower was quick with their own translation of the statement.

Not as much of a comics need more "diversity and inclusion" advocate as my girlfriend is, but we both love comic books, bacon, bourbon and hip hop. ANd yet, we still don't vote the same, so we cancel each other out, and that works perfectly in my book...
