Deadpool Solo Films Will Be R-Rated Except His Crossover MCU Films

Deadpool fans cannot wait to see how Marvel introduces Ryan Reynolds’ character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There have been a lot of reports surrounding the beloved superhero, and some fans are worried that Disney might water him down to appease its family-friendly base. Thankfully, it sounds like the Merc with a Mouth is going to keep his R-rating — at least when it comes to his solo flicks.

It is reported that when Deadpool appears in other films in the MCU, he will not be his usual R-rated self. His reported appearance in the upcoming movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, for instance, will be PG-13. As will his other cameos.

But for his solo films, fans can expect the usual from the franchise.

Apart from the rating, other good news for fans is official confirmation that Deadpool 3 is in the works.
