Cautionary Comics Officially Launches!

An all-new comic book publishing company is now announcing they are on the scene and they’re no amateurs. Staffed by industry professionals (Mike Baron, Chuck Dixon, Brett R. Smith) and backed by Silicon Valley investors, this new comic publisher says they will only produce comics that focus on “STORY, character, action and fun”.

They are launching a new comic book universe where readers can be free from the stress, politics, and worries of their day to day grind. They believe fans want comics that exist only to entertain and let readers imaginations run away with them once again.

I interviewed Benjamin L Henderson, Founder/Creator/Fictioneer of Cautionary Comics last year and now they’ve officially announced their launch titles. And here they are:

October 1988, near the Washington D.C. Occult Underground, a young couple Magnus Gunn and Vincenta Kilpatrick, prepare to celebrate their eighteenth birthdays together by getting married, when their worst fears come true.

After surviving a vicious attack, Magnus wakes to find his girlfriend has been taken and he soon learns from an otherworldly ally that he has to face an Ancient Evil to save her.

“They Kidnapped The Woman He Loves. He will raise HELL to get her back!”

When Seminole policeman Patwin Gunn’s wife Nina became pregnant, it was the happiest day of his life. But joy turned to sorrow when doctors diagnosed the unborn babe with an incurable heart condition. What would you do to save your child’s life? Would you do anything? Gunn sets out on a seemingly hopeless quest tto find Imagog, a mythical Latin American deity. Gunn’s journey takes him to Honduras, a deadly encounter with bandits, and the discovery of a lost temple in the forest. Here, against all odds, Patwin contacts the mythical deity which agrees to save his wife and child on one condition: Gunn will become Imagog’s avenging angel. All Gunn has to do is foment war, famine, pestilence and death. But Imagog is not what he seems. He is the representative of an alien race, with ulterior motives. The universe is not what it seems. And last, but not least, Patwin Gunn is not what he seems. In the tradition of Michael Moorcock and Doctor Strange, The Wraith will take you to place beyond space and time where the unbelievable becomes commonplace.

Seventh century Scotland. Henry Gunn leads his clan in a ferocious battle with Viking invaders, But with victory in sight, he is ripped from space and time by an alien race. The Ananaki seek a champion to stop an evil alien race from conquering all known space.

Set in the year 2188, a broken Human soldier from the last American War awakens an imprisoned Martian General who resumes his holy war to eradicate Humanity from the Cosmos.

“Two Army Veterans crash in a mystical jungle populated by a lost tribe of TOXIC Warrior Women that hunt men, enslave them and then kill them. They must escape, submit to survive or die trying!” Prolific writer, Mr. Chuck Dixon, with Rock Star Artists Jimbo Salgado and Bryan Arfel Magnaye have joined forces with Benjamin L. Henderson, Writer/Creator to develop his Original Action Packed Comic “RAVAGE: KILL ALL MEN!”

Gary Duba’s having a bad day. There’s a snake in his toilet, a rabid raccoon in the yard, and his girl Crystal’s in jail for getting naked at a Waffle House and licking the manager. With his best friend, Floyd, Gary sets out to sell his prized Barry Bonds rookie card to raise the five hundred needed for bail. But things get out of hand.
