After news dropped this weekend that they would be moving up the release date, Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for their upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong film. The fourth film in the shared universe follows the 2014 Godzilla, 2018 Kong: Skull Island and 2019 Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
With the trailer we get more on the plot, which focuses on Kong and his protectors trying to find his true home. He bonds with a young orphan named Jia and ends up in conflict with an angry Godzilla who is wreaking havoc across the globe.
The film is directed by Adam Wingard and stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and Kyle Chandler. It’s set to be released in both theaters and on HBO Max on March 26th.
