Warner Bros. has moved up the release of its upcoming movie based on the Tom and Jerry cartoon from April of 2021 to Dec. 23, 2020.
The untitled film from Warner Bros. Animation Group based on the cat and mouse cartoon characters is directed by Tim Story and stars Chloe Moretz, Michael Peña, Ken Jeong and Colin Jost.
The Tom and Jerry movie will now open the same day as Universal’s animated film The Croods 2, and the Tom Hanks film News of the World is set to open Christmas day. Warner Bros. also has their live-action Sesame Street musical film opening on Jan. 15, 2021. (via The Wrap)
