Justice League Dark: Apokolips War Will End DC’s Animated Universe

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War will end DC’s animated movie universe after a seven-year run that was kick-started by The Flashpoint Paradox.

A new report claims that Justice League Dark: Apokolips War will end the current continuity of DC’s animated universe that originally started in 2013 after The Flashpoint Paradox reshaped the timeline. The film will see heroes from across all of the animated movies assemble to defeat Darkseid once and for all after the villain wages a brutal war against Earth. Heroes and villains will even need to work together if the planet is to survive.

Heroic Hollywood reports that the animated movie will end this part of DC’s animated universe. However, it didn’t fully explain whether this means an entirely new timeline will be established by the end of the film or if Warner Brothers Animation will focus on stand-alone stories like Batman: Gotham By Gaslight and Superman: Red Son.
