Rocky / Rambo star Sylvester Stallone let it slip in a now deleted Instagram post that not only had he seen James Gunn’s upcoming film, The Suicide Squad, but that he was proud to be included.
“I saw it and it’s unbelievable. So I’m very proud to be included and I can’t tell you anything more about it because you’re going to have to wait and see that, but it’s going to be well worth the wait. Anyway, keep punching and see you at the movies.”
Does this mean that he has a role in the film? Yep.
Gunn is known for bringing back actors he enjoyed working with and Stallone appeared in the directors most recent Marvel Studios film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 as Stakar Ogord (aka Starhawk), leader of the Ravagers. The post has since been removed, but Gunn seems to be digging deep into the obscure end of the DC Universe, so it could be anyone… maybe even the first Ratcatcher.
Gunn himself took to social media to confirm the report and post a picture from the set of the two.
