Ferris Bueller Spin-Off Film in the Works by Cobra Kai Creators

Taking movies from 1986 and making a sequel seems to be all the rage now. After the success of Top Gun: Maverick, Paramount wants to see if lightning can strike twice as they move forward on spinoff of John Hughes classic, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Deadline is reporting that the film, titled Sam and Victor’s Day Off, will be headed by Cobra Kai creators Jon HurwitzHayden Schlossberg, and Josh HealdBill Posley (Bitch Ass) will be writing the script. The film is going to follow the two valets who took the Ferrari on a joy ride in the original Matthew Broderick film.

In the original film, the valets weren’t named but were played by Richard Edson and the late Larry “Flash” Jenkins.

The movie is in the early stages of production.
