Captain Marvel is based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers and is set to be the twenty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and stars Brie Larson as Danvers, alongside Samuel L. Jackson. Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law. The movie is set in 1995, and the story follows Danvers as she becomes Captain Marvel after the Earth is caught in the center of a galactic conflict between two alien worlds.
Some savvy comic fans got pretty excited when they saw the Captain Marvel tag on the end of Avengers: Infinity War. In their current phase, Marvel Studios has been firing on all cylinders when it comes to putting out quality movies. It’s truly a great time to be a comic book movie fan.
