While there are rumors swirling around about what role Bill Murray will be playing in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, we at least know one thing thanks to the actor himself. While speaking with former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning on the Eli Manning Show, the Super Bowl winning QB asked the Ghostbusters star what his character’s superpower is. Murray responded with, “My power is, I’m a bad guy.”
Now we know he’s not THE bad guy as Jonathan Majors has already been cast to play Kang the Conqueror following up his appearance in Loki as He Who Remains. The likelihood is that Murray is playing a small role, possible a character that exists in the Quantum Realm has been the speculation, but very little is known about the film so far with the only leaks coming from Murray.
Peyton Reed is back to direct the third Ant-Man film and Paul Rudd is reprising his role as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, alongside Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne/Wasp. Also returning are Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfieffer as Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne. Marvel Studios also formally confirmed Jonathan Majors will play Kang the Conqueror. Meanwhile, Kathryn Newton will play a teenage Cassie Lang. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is scheduled to premiere July 28, 2023.
