The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie welcomed Wyatt Russell to the series with the rest of the main cast members. It’s interesting that Russell is the second actor in his family to have a role within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as his father Kurt Russell played Ego the Living Planet in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2.

The coming Disney+ series will be set after the events of Avengers: Endgame where Mackie’s Falcon took on the Captain America mantle from an older Steve Rogers. Russell recently joined the cast as John Walker, a.k.a. U.S. Agent.
Mackie posted the Falcon and the Winter Soldier cast photo on his Twitter page, with some brilliantly goofy facial expressions to welcome Russell with his co-stars Sebastian Stan and Emily Van Camp. (via Heroic Hollywood)
