Mattel Hopes to Make a Big Showing at San Diego Comic-Con


 

Mattel announced this week its return to San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) from July 21 to July 24.

 

The brand’s presence at the highly anticipated pop culture event (finally back to in-person) will include panels, special guest appearances, product showcases and more at Booths #3029 and #2945. In celebration of fan-favorite properties, activities will spotlight Masters of the Universe, Monster High, WWE, Jurassic World and more.

 

 

“We’ve been eager to return to SDCC and we can’t wait for fans to take part in the thrilling experiences we have lined up,” said PJ Lewis, VP and Global Head of Action Figures at Mattel. “With our return to this iconic in-person event, the Mattel team set an early goal to create the most unforgettable Comic-Con 2022 for our fans. We will absolutely deliver the most fully immersive experiences that will live long after their time at SDCC.”

 

Kicking off the SDCC celebration on July 11, Mattel Creations will open the vault and offer exclusive drops during “12 Days of Fandom. The fan-first celebration will unveil the latest collectibles from a variety of iconic properties and offer fans a 288-hour sale of the 2022 line up.
