Review: Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Batman: Knightfall

Well all 5 Tales from the Dark Multiverse one-shots are out, so let’s go over them and call this the Dark Multiverse Week!

The Multiverse exists where different worlds exists. They can be similar, or radically different. But one constant is, even in evil worlds like Earth 3, there is still some semblance of hope that keeps the world stable.

In the Dark Multiverse however…that is where the failures exist. The worlds that are so tainted, so corrupted, that events have played out differently from how we know them but not for the better.

The first example we get is Batman:Knightfall! More specifically, a story that asks what if Azrael defeated Bruce during Knightsend and kept being Batman? How different would things be? The answer…VERY different!

Calling himself Saint Batman, Jean Paul Valley continues to control Gotham with an iron fist! Forced to utilize Bane’s venom to keep himself alive, he wants just one thing! Bruce’s approval…but every year he never gets it!

Then a mysterious boy comes to Gotham seeking to free Bruce, free Gotham, and stop Saint Batman. Who is he? Where does he come from? Tune in and find out!
