The Canadian non-profit Comic Legends Legal Defense Fund (not to be confused with the U.S.-based Comic Book Legal Defense Fund) is expanding its mandate beyond censorship battles to launch a rental relief program to assist Canadian comic book stores — and have contributed $10,000 themselves to start the program.
#Canucks4Comics is intending to hold online auctions similar to #Creators4Comics with 100% of all proceeds aimed at going directly to brick-and-mortar comic shops located in Canada.
