20 of Our Favorite Halloween Comic Book Covers

What started as an age-old European tradition originating with the Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would wear costumes and light bonfires to scare away spirits and ghosts is now probably the most celebrated day of the year called Halloween. With around 180 million Americans partaking in this festivity, it’s no surprise that it is so deeply ingrained into our culture; everybody loves the opportunity to dress up, have some fun, eat all the trick or treating candy, and share some funny Halloween jokes.

Since it’s quite clear that you have to be equipped with the most fantastic costume and a stack of sweets, we have compiled some of our favorite comicbook covers to get you in an appropriately spooky mood after all the preparations are done.
