The Mandalorian’s Dave Filoni Was Taught by Ryan Johnson

Probably not performance art.

The Art of the Mandalorian was recently released, and it talks about Dave Filoni’s biggest influence for directing the live action episodes of the Disney + Show.

I bet that’s not all that Rian Johnson taught Filoni about live action directing.

Birds of a feather flock together.

Readers may recall comments made by Filoni at a women’s conference in 2016 that mocked criticisms of the Mary Sue Trope. Comments that echoed a slogan from the feminist Geena Davis Institute. It should also be noted, that 2016 is when The Last Jedi would have been in production.

Readers may also recall comments from Filoni published in The Art of the Rise of Skywalker, where he spoke of shifting the franchise from patriarchal to matriarchal.

Thanks to OG Star Wars for the tip.

The choreography sure has some similarities
