Star Wars Author Rebecca Roanhorse Accused Of Being “Pretend-ian”

Rebecca Roanhorse, author of Star Wars : Resistance Reborn, and white male hater, is being accused of making up her racial heritage once again.

Mason Jar

That mason jar may be culturally appropriated.

Roanhorse is often cited as being part Ohkay Owingeh and part African American. She was previously accused of the cardinal SJW sin, cultural appropriation, by Indian Country Today which published an article that claimed Ms. Roanhorse was not of Navajo descent despite writing about Navajos. Then investigative journalist Acee Agoyo published an article on indianz.com comparing Ms. Roanhorse to Elizabeth Warren with regards to her claims of Native American lineage.

And now Jacqueline Keeler, who the New York Times apparently calls an “expert voice,” has looked into Ms. Roanhorse’s heritage claims further. Ms. Keeler is calling Rebecca Roanhorse a “Pretendian.” You can read her claims below:

However, another Native American author is calling this “targeted harassment.” Where have we heard that phrase before?

Ms. Keeler gives me some advice on reporting:
