Merry Christmas & Best Wishes for a Blessed 2024 from Bleeding Fool

Merry Christmas to every one of you who visit Bleeding Fool to geek out with us about comic books, movies, TV, gaming, art, and all the other geeky stuff that so many of us are passionate about. Many people don’t like to acknowledge passionate fans because they tend to get very demonstrative and vocal about their favorite things and have been known to push back against those who attempt to use their beloved past-times and properties to further their own political agendas, but we are right here you.

To those that visit our site to get your refreshing dose of entertainment, laughs, and geeky news, I want you to know that you’re the reason that we’re still around after six years of folly and foolishness. It’s all of you who keep coming back to this blog that keeps us afloat, along the visitors who click on those cumbersome ads, or use our PayPal donation button at the bottom of the site, and the occasional, awkward sponsored post. None of those are making us rich, and this is definitely not a “for profit” enterprise.

In fact, for those of you who don’t use adblockers, those ads you see on this website barely manage to pay for the hosting, email, security, and domain services, but again, this is little more than a passion project for us. It’s a miracle we manage to stay afloat while so many other websites are struggling and closing up shop – even ones with lots and lots of pop-up ads!

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

My message to you all this Christmas day is that I’m immensely grateful for not only each of you, but for all of our contributors who help provide all the interesting content that brings you here. I’m even grateful for those angry readers that reject our opinions, point out our spelling errors, and constantly try to debate our takes. These differences are what I feel makes this website a better place to visit than our one-sided inspiration

If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.” 1 Corinthians 3:18

Finally, I hope that you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays with your family, friends and loved ones this weekend. I wish you all the best, and as we move into the new year I hope a positive outlook on life follows you. 2024 will be a better year for geek entertainment, even though there’s still plenty of woke content on the way, I expect there will be less of it. There’s also a lot of great stuff to look forward to. We’re going to continue to focus on both. Together, we can make 2024 a great year for geeks like us!

Remember the reason for the Season. Safe travels, and have a blessed day!

I'm one opinionated, based geek. I try to steer this tiny ship and can often be heard monthly on the Comic Book Page Previews Spotlight podcast with several fellow "comic book nerds." Follow me on Twitter @ChrisBraly. My preferred adjectives are brilliant/beautiful.
