Originally when the #metoo movement came out, many got behind the idea to help out victims of abuse and assault. Since then, the movement has been adapted to help further some people’s careers, or merely to diminish those have been falsely accused.
Unfortunately, this looks like it might be another instance in which we see both of these happening. Amber Heard accused Johnny Depp of domestic abuse, multiple times, and now he is fighting back to save his reputation and his name. He is filing a $50 million dollar lawsuit against ex-wife Amber for defamation of character, claiming to have the proof to back it up.
