Is Disney+ Sending Rey Back in Time to Train Luke Skywalker?

Lucasfilm has many options to degrade Luke Skywalker further.

It was recently announced that Disney + is going to release a Lego Star Wars Holiday Special this November 17th. According to Pirates and Princesses:

“Rey and droid pal BB-8 head off on a quest to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force, but their visit to a mysterious Jedi Temple sends them careening through time and space. Rey interacts with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and other characters in some of the franchise’s most beloved moments, as they try to return in time for a Life Day feast with her friends on Chewbacca’s Wookiee home world of Kashyyyk.”

“But the heart and soul of the special is Rey’s relationship with Luke – not the old Jedi master she knew but instead the rookie Rebel version from George Lucas’ original 1977 “Star Wars” movie. It becomes a much different take on a teacher and apprentice with the more seasoned Rey and a younger Luke,” according to Rimes.

So an older wiser Rey will be training the naive Luke. How Rey could do this with zero training of her own is a situation that could only exist in SJW imagination. But they may be intending to do this in Marvel comics as well. Readers may recall a previous blog post in which I wrote about Marvel’s Star Wars #5, that talks about Luke meeting a “mysterious woman…”

Could Rey be that “mysterious woman?”

But it could get much worse.

Recent rumors were flying around about a Luke Skywalker movie:

Disney Reportedly Wants To ‘Fix’ Star Wars By Making A Luke Skywalker Movie

There are rumours that Disney wants to ‘Fix’ the Star Wars movies by making a standalone Luke Skywalker film.

Honestly, I do not like the sound of this rumour at all.

There’s also the fact that it comes from YouTubers Overlord DVD, and they have a rather ‘spotty’ track-record as far as these ‘rumours’ are concerned.

That said, they are reporting that Disney is looking into making a standalone Luke Skywalker movie.

If this is the case, then I think it sounds like Disney wanting to appease the upset Star Wars fans who claimed that the Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi wasn’t ‘their’ Luke Skywalker.

Could we see Daisy Ridley reprise her role as an older Rey, to train a young CGI Luke?

Other rumors suggest that Lucasfilm wants to use time travel to retcon the Disney Trilogy era, since no one is interested in the Disney Trilogy material. Merchandise, park attendance, and box office have been demonstrating this even long before COVID. But this wouldn’t follow SJW behavior. SJWs never admit error, or try to rectify the awful damage their efforts always leave behind. Certainly, the SJWs within Lucasfilm are no different.

So what if the effort to rectify the Disney Trilogy era doesn’t involve any retcon at all? What if this is an effort to generate interest in the Disney Trilogy trash, by inserting Disney Trilogy era characters into the Original Trilogy time period that people are interested in? So now those interested in the OT, wouldn’t even be able to enjoy anything from that time period without crappy Disney material inserted into it. Sounds like a brilliant plan that only an SJW mind could dream up, and its in keeping with the known SJW strategy of barnacling their “creations” to pre-existing material. Though this is just speculation on my part.
