According to media reports, Walt Disney Company has instructed ESPN to lay off several hundred of their employees. The “Worldwide Leader” could dismiss as many as 700 workers, most of them who operate “behind the scenes,” a Front Office Sports report said, though some on-air talent could also be affected — particularly those on expiring contracts. Only days earlier, controversial SportsCenter host Keith Olbermann announced that his third stint at the wokest sports network was coming to an earlier-than-expected end.
Keith has a small professional announcement to make ;-)🤔 https://t.co/f4srh2uMem

Unlike previous departures, Olbermann claims that this time it was his own call and he did not go out guns blazing. In a Periscope video posted to his Twitter account, Olbermann announced that he was leaving ESPN to start his own political commentary show on YouTube.
“I want to thank my friends at ESPN … for releasing me a little early from my contract with the network so I can resume my political commentaries,” he said. “In the 31 years since I first went to work for ESPN … I have now left ESPN in every conceivable way possible. Only once it was truly unpleasant…this time it is truly on very, very happy terms.
“I have adhered, I hope, to their desire for their sportscasters to refrain from political commentary – which is an approach in which I largely agree with anyway. They have now agreed with my desire to serve my country the best way I know how which is focusing my energy on political commentary.”
And focus on political commentary he did, in one of the most brazen, psychotic, and frankly dangerous opening monologues ever broadcasted publicly by a sports announcer or any other public figure. This guy is unhinged and it’s all on his Youtube Channel, unironically named Worst Person in the World! With Keith Olbermann.
I understand if you can’t watch the whole thing, so for those with weaker constitutions, here’s a few highlights.
04:13 “…the President of the United States is a mass murderer.”
04:37 “The President of the United States… is a terrorist!”
05:17 “He has encouraged white nationalist terrorism… He has supported the white nationalist terror groups, the Nazis“
08:32 “…America is now ruled by a madman. Spare me the ‘thoughts and prayers’!!”
08:58 “…Donald John Trump is a mass murderer… Donald John Trump is the worst terrorist this country has ever faced…
and [his] reign of terror over us MUST END.”
This is happening on a daily basis. This *TDS sufferer has called for everyone even remotely connected to the U.S. President to be criminally charged for complicity in his actions. To Olbermann, that list includes not only White House officials, but judge Amy Coney Barrett, Senator Mike Lee and Attorney General William Barr, just to name a few. He even called out 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, who shot three Antifa rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin last month, killing two.
08:26 “Trump can be, and must be expunged. The hate he has triggered; the Pandora’s box he has opened; they will not be so easily destroyed. So, let us brace ourselves. The task is two-fold. The terrorist Trump must be defeated. Must be destroyed. Must be devoured at the ballot box. And then he, and his enablers, and his supporters, and his collaborators, and the Mike Lees and the William Barrs and the Sean Hannitys and the Mike Pences, and the Rudy Giulianis and the Kyle Rittenhouses and the Amy Coney Barretts must be prosecuted and convicted and removed from our society while we try to rebuild it and to rebuild the world Trump has nearly destroyed by turning it over to a virus.
Even as we dream of a return to reality, and safety, and the country for which our forefathers died. That the fight is not just to win an election, but to win it by enough to chase – at least for a moment – Trump and the Maggots off the stage and then try to clean up what they left.
Remember it. Even though TO remember it, means remembering that the fight does not end November 3rd, but in many ways, will only begin that day.“
Worst person in the world, indeed.
The Walt Disney Company was paying this guy’s salary, up until a week ago. They had to be aware they had a guy on the payroll who was willing to goad other unhinged psychopaths to make assassination attempts on the President. And if they didn’t, how is that possible? Has the Secret Service visited with this clearly unhealthy individual to question him about calling President Trump a terrorist?

Disney and ESPN knew who this guys was. I would be interested to know what kind of arrangement was made so he could be released from his contract. Are they paying out his contract right now? Are there any conditions or contingencies if he goes off the reservation, as he clearly has? He may currently only have just under forty-thousand subscribers on Youtube, but this is dangerous rhetoric that is more than just a “dog whistle” to the violently insane in our citizenry.
Olbermann began his career as a sports broadcaster before turning to politics on MSNBC from 2003 to 2011, when he fired from for blaming the actions by Tucson shooter Jared Loughner, (who “did not watch TV” and “disliked the news,”) on FOX News and Sarah Palin saying that their political speech was only “amplifying violence” in the aftermath of the deadly Tucson killing spree. How can one not see the irony?
In 2013 he briefly returned to sports broadcasting weekdays on ESPN2, the smaller sister channel of ESPN. It began in 2013 and lasted until 2015, with ESPN calling the split a “business decision to move in another direction,” not the result of a dispute. That’s noteworthy because Olbermann, 56, has been called a “perpetual bridge-burner” in the past. He famously worked at ESPN in the 1990s, anchoring “SportsCenter,” then moved to MSNBC, then Fox Sports (who demoted him), back to MSNBC, and then back to ESPN. When Trump won the presidency in 2016, Olbermann got back into politics again, but was rehired by ESPN in early 2018. This week he announced that he was resigning to focus on political commentary via his independent YouTube show.
In his series of tweets last week, Olbermann sounded eager to get back into political commentary.
“I have adhered to their desire for their sportscasters to refrain from purely political commentary (an approach with which I largely agree), and they have now agreed with my desire to go and serve my country by focusing my energy on political commentary”.
Keith is not the type to be doing this “for clicks,” but his videos are quickly hitting 6 figures in views, and he is calling the President of the United States a “terrorist”. This does nothing but incite “the crazies,” but have any democrats or liberals denounced or condemned this sort of rhetoric? If Joe Biden wins the U.S. Presidential elections, does Keith Olbermann want people locked up? Does he want show trials of Trump’s supporters? What did Disney have to pay this guy to go away in a compensation package. They’ve let this guy loose on America.
Where are the activists who are against “hate speech”? This certainly qualifies.
I consent to removal from this society to one where I can:
-Buy food without a mask.
-Not watch children taught to hate this country.
-Not be told I’m evil if I don’t think a certain way.
-Speak my mind under my real name without fear of endangering my job.
