Devastating: Bloody Stabbing in New York Involving Comics Vendor

The New York Post reported an alarming incident occurred near Herald Square when a comics vendor stabbed another man over a squabble that so far remains unclear:

A comic book vendor stabbed a man during a fight outside of Macy’s in Herald Square on Friday evening, cops said.

The vendor, a man in his 50s, got into a dispute with another 21-year-old man that led to a scuffle at 7th Avenue and 34th Street around 7 p.m., according to police.

The 21-year-old man was transported to Bellevue Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, cops said.

It’s said both the men were arrested, so it’s hard to tell whether both acted irrationally. But one sure thing, it’s very fortunate the man on the receiving end of the blade is okay; we don’t need more lives lost over petty issues. Any way you look at this terrible incident, one thing’s clear: it’s embarrassing and devastating.
