Darth Plagiarism: Why are TROS’s Jedi Texts Written in Persian?

Remember in the old days when the Aurebesh font was created to give Star Wars an otherworldly feel to its written language.

 

 

Well, today’s “creators” have seen fit to plagiarize a page from Al-Biruni’s Kitab al-Tafhim which describes the phases of the moon.

Here is an image of the Jedi texts from the The Rise Of Skywalker Visual Dictionary which describes the Phases of Mortis.

 

 

 

Turns out the Star Wars galaxy isn’t all that far, far away after all.

 

Even more amusing is that the TROS Visual Dictionary was written by Pablo Hidalgo.  So what gives, Pablo?
